Martin Hock

Treasurer

Martin Hock serves as Treasurer of One Drop Global, where he helps ensure financial transparency, accountability, and sound decision-making across the organization.

With a background in education leadership, Martin has dedicated his career to supporting students and families. He was named Administrator of the Year in his district in 2020, reflecting his commitment to excellence and impact in the field of education.

Martin has been involved with One Drop Global since 2018, beginning as a monthly donor before joining the board. His longstanding friendship with co-founder Joel Trumbo and his passion for improving the lives of children drew him to the organization’s mission.

He brings a strong advocacy for youth to the board, with a particular focus on the intersection of education and access to clean water. Many of One Drop Global’s water systems are located near schools, and Martin is committed to ensuring students have reliable access to safe water to support their health and learning.

Martin believes that access to clean water is a matter of human dignity, and that no one’s place of birth should determine their access to basic necessities.

He and his wife, high school sweethearts married for over 30 years, have four children and three grandchildren. He enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors working on his landscape and pond.
