Millie Yan is a Legislative Coordinator with the California Department of Finance, where she focuses on legislative analysis and advocacy. She is also a law partner at Lighthouse Estate Planning LLP. Her career has been rooted in public service, with experience spanning legal advocacy, civil rights, and public policy, including roles with the ACLU and Legal Services of Northern California.

She joined the One Drop Global board in 2025 after years of connection through shared community initiatives. As a co-founder of the Asian American Pacific Islander Association of Placer County, she frequently collaborated with the organization at local outreach events before formally stepping into a board role.

Millie brings expertise in legal strategy, finance, and program development, along with a strong commitment to equity and access. She sees access to clean water as a foundational human right and a critical step toward that vision.

Outside of her work, Millie enjoys spending time with her spouse and two children and has traveled extensively across Central and Latin America and Southeast Asia.
