Chairman of the Board
Samuel Muthinja serves as Chairman of the Board at One Drop Global, where he plays an active role in governance and project operations.
Samuel Muthinja is a Registered Nurse with over 17 years of experience working in intensive care units across multiple U.S. states. He currently practices in both the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, providing specialized care to patients recovering from surgery and those with critical cardiac conditions.
Samuel has been involved with One Drop Global for approximately a decade, joining after hearing about the organization’s work and being deeply moved by its mission. In addition to his role on the board, he is actively engaged in field operations, regularly visiting project sites during borehole drilling and conducting long-term follow-up to assess sustainability and community impact.
His firsthand experience witnessing the challenges faced by communities without access to clean water has shaped his commitment to this work. As a healthcare professional, he is particularly passionate about the role that safe water plays in preventing disease and improving outcomes, especially for women and children.
