Safe Water Project 2026

at God’s Grace Orphanage in Uganda, East Africa

At God’s Grace Orphanage in Uganda, more than 200 children depend on this school and home for daily care, meals and education.

Yet one of the most basic needs remains a daily challenge: access to clean water.

Without safe water, children face illness, missed school days and ongoing vulnerability.

The surrounding community of over 4,000 people is also affected by water shortages and waterborne disease.

This project will provide a sustainable clean water system for the orphanage, school and surrounding community through:

  • a new deep borehole

  • a solar-powered water pump

  • large water storage tanks

  • community access points

  • hygiene and sanitation training

More than infrastructure, this project is about health, dignity and hope.

Clean water means children can stay healthy, attend school consistently and grow in a safer environment.

Project Highlights:

  • 203 children directly impacted

  • 4,000+community members served

  • Solar-powered sustainable water system

  • Long-term local maintenance plan

Together, we can help create lasting change for children who deserve the chance to learn, grow and thrive.
