H2O4ALL USA is now One Drop Global: Introducing A New Chapter in Clean Water Access
For over a decade, H2O4ALL USA has worked to expand access to clean, safe water in underserved communities around the world.
What began as a small, grassroots effort has grown into a trusted humanitarian initiative—designing, funding, and building safe water projects across East Africa and beyond.
Through borehole drilling, water system installations, and community-based partnerships, we have brought reliable water access to schools, hospitals, and rural communities—improving health outcomes, supporting education, and creating new economic opportunities.
Along the way, local leaders have been empowered, community members trained, and long-term sustainability prioritized to ensure each project continues to serve for years to come.
This year marks a decade of service, trusted partnerships, and life-changing water projects.
Yet the need remains significant. Across the world, access to clean water continues to be one of the most pressing challenges of our time. For the team behind this work, that reality has shaped a renewed vision—one that builds on a strong foundation while looking ahead to a broader, global future.
To honour the journey of the past ten years while creating a clearer and more unified path forward, H2O4ALL USA is stepping into a new chapter under a new name: One Drop Global.
This transition reflects our commitment and direction in the years ahead.
Humble Beginnings, Big Impact
The story of this work traces back to 2011, beginning with a simple email exchange between co-founders Joel Trumbo and Tim Muttoo—and a shared willingness to respond to a need.
In 2015, they formally established a U.S.-based branch of the Canadian charity H2O4all, expanding efforts to support clean water access in underserved communities.
Over the past decade, our team has installed water projects across Kenya and Uganda. Each project has been developed in close partnership with local communities and leaders, contributing to improved access to safe, reliable water for thousands of people.
Reflecting on that journey, co-founder Tim Muttoo shares:
“When we first began, it wasn’t about building an organization—it was about responding to what we were seeing and doing what we could to help. Over time, that small beginning has grown into something much bigger than we imagined. One Drop Global reflects what we’ve always believed: that even the smallest act can create ripple effects far beyond what we see.”
A Name That Reflects the Journey
As the work has grown, so too has the need for a name that reflects its scope and direction.
The transition to One Drop Global represents that evolution—a recognition of both the increasing reach of the work and the belief that meaningful change often begins with something small.
As Executive Director Joel Trumbo shares:
“This transition reflects years of growth, learning, and partnership. The name One Drop Global captures something simple but powerful—that meaningful change often begins with one step, one act, one drop. While our name has evolved, our mission remains unchanged, and we are committed to continuing this work alongside the communities we serve.”
New Name, Same Mission
While the name has changed, the mission remains the same—now carried forward with renewed clarity and focus.
We will continue to expand access to clean and safe water, working alongside local partners and communities to develop solutions that are effective, sustainable, and rooted in respect.
With a growing vision for the future, One Drop Global is committed to strengthening partnerships, expanding access to water solutions in underserved regions, and ensuring that every project is built for long-term impact.
Much has been accomplished—but the need remains, and the work continues.

We are grateful for our roots with the Canadian charity H2O4ALL and for more than a decade of shared work alongside communities in East Africa. As this next chapter begins, One Drop Global will operate as an independent organization, building on that foundation with a renewed vision for the future.
While our name has evolved, our mission remains unchanged. We remain committed to expanding access to clean water, restoring dignity, and working in partnership with communities to build sustainable, long-term solutions.
The name One Drop Global reflects a belief that has guided our work from the beginning—that even one act of care, one partnership, and one drop of water can create lasting impact over time.
